"Consistency pays off. That last session is probably one of the most fun times I’ve had in a race car. The track was really good, and I can carry a lot of throttle through [Turns] 1 and 2 so that’s always fun. This will just make tomorrow easier for us, we just need to take this position and execute."

"I was a little hesitant on the first lap. I probably should have picked it up a little bit, I just lifted too much going into Turn 1. So, I really had to get a good lap on the second one. The car was perfect, really neutral and a great car to drive so thanks to the team for that. The main thing today was to make sure we have a good race car, it’s a long race. I think we have a good shot."

"Qualifying wasn’t great. I ended up seventh. I had a couple issues with the car - it didn’t drive great. It overall wasn’t what we wanted, but we’ll be good tomorrow. We have a good car in traffic and we’ll move forward."
