  • STARTING POSITION:1st
  • QUALIFYING TIME:1:11.3118
"I was really trying to break the track record here, honestly, but I’m happy we’re starting from pole for Race 1. I made a couple mistakes during the session that had I not made, I could’ve gotten closer to breaking it. I’m not sure if I would’ve been faster, but there were just a few extra ones that I wanted to get but it wasn’t quite enough. The car felt great and I’m really happy with the No. 27 Mazda."

      • STARTING POSITION:2nd
      • QUALIFYING TIME:1:11.7350
"I felt really good in today’s qualifying session. I took a cool-down lap with about four laps to go and we put it together the last couple laps. I feel consistent and I think we will have a good race cartomorrow. It’ll be important to get a good start and stay consistent throughout the entire race. Hopefully I can bring home my first Indy Lights win here in my home state, in front of all my friends and family."

          • STARTING POSITION:3rd
          • QUALIFYING TIME:1:11.8219
"Obviously, I would’ve liked to start on the pole, but starting from third isn’t too bad - we can win the race from there. The racetomorrowwill be interesting and the start will be very important since we’re starting on the front-straight and you can get a run-on on the back-straight.”

              • STARTING POSITION:6th
              • QUALIFYING TIME:1:12.2953
“It was a good qualifying session, but I would like to be starting a little closer to the front fortomorrow’srace. We took a gamble and scrubbed the set [of Cooper Tires] for the race, so we only did one run on tires, but overall I think we ran well today. We’ll see if that scrub set will help us in the race because I did think we put ourselves at a disadvantage during qualifying, but the car felt good and obviously we have quick cars.”
